Concrete Evidence Of Google Inserting Anti-Trump Bias Into Their Products

Google has once again revealed their political bias, this time by programming their voice dictation feature not to capitalize the “p” in President Trump’s title.

For all the others — President Obama, President Bush, President Clinton, President Reagan, President Carter — the “P” is capitalized.

But when you use their voice dictation feature and say “President Trump,” it comes out as “president Trump.”

WATCH:

That’s from the desktop. But the same thing happens on mobile devices that use Google’s Android operating system.

It’s very simple and if you use Google Chrome on your desktop and/or have a mobile device that uses the Android OS, you can test it yourself.

Here are a few more examples just for good measure.

WATCH:

It’s childish and pathetic that Google has literally coded its bias in to one of its core features.

But that’s not actually the worst part.

The worst part is that blind people rely on the voice dictation feature to do the writing for them. And blind people are the only ones who are unable to see what Google is doing. That means blind people are being used, without their knowledge, as vessels to help spread Google’s message of disrespect for President Trump.

Google’s employees manipulated a feature that is used by people who are disabled, and are exploiting that disability. They are using blind people as unwitting messengers to spread their disdain for President Trump.

That’s just not okay.

I first stumbled on this back in February 2018. And I wrote about it in a piece called Politically Biased Google Exploits The Visually Impaired.

But since Google made news yet again for their political bias, it was worth revisiting.

Thanks to Breitbart News, a leaked video was just released of Google employees all mourning President Trump’s victory in the days following the 2016 election. And when I watched that video it became even more clear that what I landed on here wasn’t a fluke. The coders at Google who are responsible for maintaining the voice dictation feature had made a conscious choice that they were going to disrespect President Trump by not capitalizing the “P” in “President” when it’s attached to his name.

It’s just another act of the petulant Resistance.

It’s stupid and childish, but it’s also yet more evidence that the people who work at Google are more than happy to literally code their political bias, and hatred for President Trump, in to their systems.

After the leaked video, Google released a statement defending themselves that read in part…

For over 20 years everyone at Google has been able to freely express their opinions at these meetings. Nothing was said at that meeting, or any other meeting, to suggest that political bias ever influences the way we build or operate our products. To the contrary, our products are built for everyone, and we design them with extraordinary care to be a trustworthy source of information for everyone, without regard to political viewpoint.

Political bias never influences the way you build your products?

You design your products without regard to political viewpoint?

Both of those claims are clearly untrue. And what’s more, the intolerant liberals Google hires to build and design their products are more than happy to exploit people with disabilities just to make their petty political points.

And if they’re literally coding their political bias in to the voice dictation feature, don’t think for a second that it’s not manifesting in far more significant areas as well.

UPDATE, 9/13/18 at 10:45AM ET:

So this is kind of wild. It looks like if you put the word “like” before President Trump’s name, it will capitalize the title. But in all other instances, it won’t.
