At CNN, Words DON’T Matter [VIDEO]

CNN’s John Berman blatantly lied on Tuesday morning about President Trump’s words, just moments after the President’s actual words were aired for all to see.

The flagrant mischaracterization was an obvious attempt by Berman to bolster the network’s anti-Trump narrative.

Asked about gun laws in the wake of the Sutherland Springs, TX shooting, President Trump said that stricter vetting could mean “you might not have had” the armed hero who disrupted the killer’s rampage.

True to President Trump’s style, he offered the broadest of qualifiers: “Might.”

According to John Berman however, the President offered no such qualifier. What John Berman heard, and repeated to CNN’s literally tens of viewers, is that “had there been stricter gun laws, the hero here would not have been able to do what he did.”

The icing on the cake here is Berman’s pleading, “That’s simply just not true.”

You’re right, John. What you said is simply just not true.

Of course rather than correct her co-host, Poppy Harlow nodded along as CNN’s anti-Trump narrative is far more important than actually reporting and characterizing events accurately. All this from the network where the phrase of the day, every day, is “Words matter!” But as we’ve seen over and over and over again, the only time words matter at CNN is when they can be used to attack President Trump and his supporters.

CNN is not only the epitome of fake news, but they actively exacerbate anti-GOP/Trump hatred, while absolving now-normalized Leftist violence. None of it is okay, and all of it must be called out.
