The tables turned on Monday afternoon when Mike Cernovich began questioning White House reporters’ ethics and shaming their lack of integrity.
Cernovich — an author, journalist and documentary filmmaker — blasted the roomful of prominent reporters: “Why will nobody here cover the violence against Trump supporters?”
He only recently got his press pass for the White House briefing room, but Cernovich was already using it to pummel the mainstream media’s purveyors of fake news.
He continued, “And why won’t you demand that leaders of the Democrats disavow the violence of AntiFA, the way you demanded Trump disavow violence from his supporters?”
Someone nearby asked Cernovich, “Are you a reporter, sir?”
As the camera pans, you see NBC’s Kristen Welker — unaccustomed to being challenged — appear visibly stunned and offended.
Cernovich replies, “I am, ma’am. I am. I am a reporter. I’m a documentary filmmaker. And I want to know why nobody will demand that the Democrats disavow AntiFA violence.”
“AntiFA” is a growing movement on the left that promotes violence against Trump supporters and suppression of their rights to free speech. President Trump and his supporters are cheering Mike Cernovich tonight, and look forward to more real journalism that holds the media — which really is the opposition party to President Trump — accountable.
